Rookie team makes itself known for the first time in the Open European Championship!!!

We went to the European Open Championship in Eindhoven, NL from 4th to 8th May. 52 teams from around the world competed for 16 LEGO trophies. SHELL stayed in the group accommodation with 250 other participants. Click here for some photos.

The team was made up of ten home-educated young people (9 to 15 years old) from the Swindon area and two En Famille exchange children (one from France and one from Germany) who joined us in September 2005 for six months.

Going on...

Registration has just opened for the 2006 season of FLL. We will be entering another team, which will benefit from the things we learned from the 2005 Ocean Odyssey season. All local home-educated young people are invited to join the team.

We have a DVD of the 2004 World Festival, as well as literature from the 2005 UK final and OEC. The team would very much appreciate an opportunity to come and tell you more about their experience and discuss any possibility of financial or practical assistance.
