Competition day 1: Arrival
The teams first started to size each other up when they gathered outside the Tokyo International Gymnasium around 9:30.
Peculiarly bulging boxes, odd costumes and team colours were the order of the day.
When the doors opened, we all streamed in to find our pit areas and get set up, ready for a 1pm start on the presentation sessions.
