Our Project
We chose to look at a local leisure centre, the Oasis in Swindon.
It was fairly energy-efficient and state of the art when it was
built in the mid 1970s. Now, however, it is aging badly and wastes
a lot of energy.

We have built
a model of the Oasis Leisure centre to take to Tokyo.
The
photo below shows how the Oasis looks now:
This photo shows the changes we'd like to make.
The new dome would be of ETFE foil; and the flat roof would
have north-facing rooflights and south-facing solar panels:
